With nearly four decades of experience, Debra Plousha Moore is a nationally recognized authority in the fields of leadership development, human resources, diversity and inclusion, and organizational development.
She is founder and principal of Plousha Moore Group (PMG). Started in 2018, PMG is a boutique consultancy providing executive-level advisory services primarily to Fortune 500 companies and C-suite executives. Among its specialties are innovation, leadership development, executive recruitment, succession planning, HR communications, and diversity and inclusion. Prior to founding PMG, Moore held a number of executive positions with Atrium HealthCare System, North Carolina; OhioHealth, Columbus, Ohio; Carolinas HealthCare System; GenesysHealth System, Michigan; and Franciscan Health System of the Ohio Valley. She also served as Associate Dean of Students at University of Dayton where she is a current board trustee and where she earned a master’s degree in education (counseling and human services).
Ms. Moor was a mentor for Global Ambassador Program (GAP) to enhance the development of international entrepreneurs in a program presented by Vital Voices and Bank of America. Other previous board and committee service includes the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, Links, Inc., Friends of Trinity Episcopal School, Society of Human Resources Professionals and National Association of Health Services Executives.
Moore has received numerous honors and recognition for her work in human resources and diversity, including the Maya Angelou Women Who Lead Excellence Award— United Negro College Fund (2012), the Charlotte Business Woman of the Year (2015), and Executive Diversity Champion Award—Atrium Health (2018). Moore and her husband, Colonel John E. Moore Jr., USAF (Ret.) live in San Francisco. They have two married sons and four grandchildren.
